Taylors Trail 15 - Three Blind Mice Night Trail 5.25m 16 November 2011 Gavin Long reports: Wow. How exciting was that? Off road running whilst following written instructions was taken to a new level in this race as we had to navigate along field edges and footpaths with nothing more than a head torch. It was tough. Multi-tasking has never been a strong point of mine but luckily Ele found it easier so together we made a good team. Not quite as good however as the younger Mr & Mrs White as Rebecca claimed the prize for first lady in her first race since becoming a mother. The race also offered the additional challenge of reaching clipper points along the route. Despite struggling to find the first clipper, Paul Burgess demonstrated his adeptness at these trail races with a highly impressive 5th position. Probably for the first time ever, Saffron Striders outnumbered Springfield Striders in the top 10.
