Eden Project Half Marathon 10 October 2010 Paul Waters reports: The race information describes the course as "undulating". For "undulating" read "no flat bits, just lots of steep climbs and descents" - this was undulating Cornish style. I had not grasped any of this in advance, which would explain why I felt like keeling over after 3 miles! The course runs through beautiful scenery on a mixture of roads and tracks, and is very well marshalled and organised. The crowds of entrants soon thin out as the hills kick in. Allow plenty of time to get to the start from the car parks and the "core" building. The "goody bag" was a bit of a joke as it only contained the post race pasty voucher, a t-shirt and some flyers! Supporters are allowed free admission to the site as well. So a highly recommended race in a beautiful area, just be prepared for the non-stop hills (unlike me - Claire seemed to have no such problems!).
