Harvest Trail Race 10m 19 September 2010 Gavin Long reports: What a surprising gem this was. The off-road route took us from the Heath Sports Centre, past the golf course and along the gallops adjacent to the A505. We headed across fields and up a steep climb to Therfield, negotiated ploughed fields and wound our way through a forest before finishing on the heath. I'd already decided to put this in next year's diary, but the free tea and cakes at the finish made it a definite.
