Dovedale Dipper 26m 4000ft ascent Paul Burgess reports: The Dovedale Dipper is a wonderful 26-mile trail race through the Derbyshire Dales, with a total ascent of 4000ft. It's organised in the style of an LDWA event, with a written route description, and well-stocked checkpoints providing food and drinks along the way. The big bonus though is that the run passes through some amazingly beautiful countryside, with views over Chrome Hill, the Manifold Valley and Dovedale itself. If we did race ratings, this would get 10/10.
