St Ives 10k

Keith Savill reports:

This race was fairly accurately described as "an undulating out & back" course, taking runners from the outskirts of St Ives town, along a quiet rural lane, to the seemingly never ending taxiways of RAF Wyton Airfield, returning to the finish at St Ives Outdoor Leisure Centre.

This was a very well organised event, which had over 550 starters and saw some excellent times. I was hoping for a PB, but tweaking my hamstring on Thursday at Rob's torture session, I mean training session, put paid to that!

Fiona Halls adds:

It was quite a toughie round a disused airfield, and very windy!
