High Ongar 10k John Howe reports: This race was part of the Essex County championships, and the standard of entrants (with some exceptions) reflected this. The course was a two lap circuit on hard gravel, tarmac tracks and an undulating terrain. It was said to be run on an old airfield, but it certainly was not one for Flying Fortresses. Yes, Chrispian Bloomfield won this one!
